Gathering data on EU Competitiveness on selected Clean Energy technologies

The goal of the study is to support the European Commission’s deep understanding on Competitiveness of the EU clean energy technology industry with respect to other regions of the world.
Specifically, the study aims to understand the value chain of specific clean energy technologies and gather available quantitative data on competitiveness based on predetermined indicators and criteria.
In understanding the value chain and supply chain of clean energy technologies, the study aims to determine the market size, competitive intensity, market players, new entrants, employment indicators and R&D investment for each of the identified value chain segments.
